Being members of Clarkson University's female population there was a very limited choice of Greek organizations that we could associate ourselves with. In an effort to provide another option for girls like ourselves who did not feel like we "belonged" with any of these groups, we decided to go out and find our own group where we really did truly belong. What we found was Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc., and an unlikely group of people who have become our sisters forever. Over the past two years we have welcomed in three New Member classes, worked on unique service projects while continuing our Roses of Relief program and have gained recognition on campus as a successful chapter of Kappa Delta Chi.
We are a group of 18 girls who come from all different backgrounds, and majors who found each other because we all have one common interest, to help serve our community and achieve academic excellence.
In the past we have been able to raise over $2000 for different causes and events like our Hunger Feast to support the local food bank, The American Cancer Society, Children's Miracle Network, The Salvation Army, and Sigma Chi's Derby Days' recipient The Huntsman Cancer Institute.
We are each individually unique and bring a new (sometimes eccentric) personality and energy to the group. We are always looking for new ways to have fun in Potsdam, NY and ways to help connect with the other organizations on campus as well. We love spending time together and are generally crazy and silly.
