As a Chapter of Kappa Delta Chi we are striving to promote academic, professional, and person success for each of our members, and those around us. We are working towards trying to fix Greek Relations here at Clarkson University. This includes trying to improve the overall perceptions about greek life to the general student body, improve inter-greek relations to get more cohesion and better collaboration on events, and to increase the number of women involved in greek life on campus.
We are also working towards trying to make a profound impact on the Potsdam Community with projects such as "Roses of Relief." What "Roses of Relief" does is promote community involvement in the fight against poverty in the North Country. This event is a monthly box drive in which we put together boxes of household goods we gather through donations (both monetary and non-monetary) and we pass them out to members of the community who are less fortunate and can benefit from not having to buy some of these items when their main focus is on providing food and shelter for their families. These household items include things such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, sponges, hand soap, and much more.
If you would like to make a donation to this program please contact our Service Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have a strong focus on service, academic, and leadership. We encourage all of our members to work towards the highest standards for academic success and to become involved in other organizations on campus if they are interested in them. We have a very strong emphasis on service and to challenge ourselves to find ways that can really impact the Potsdam area, Clarkson University, and ourselves in order to truly make a difference.
